I am thrilled to have participated in this project. Thank you, Shane for your wisdom in creation of so many ways to engage the many for the one. It was a challenge to paint over someone else's work but as I do it so much to my own and I had to do it to my work here it had to be done to Brian (In as much as I do it to me I do it to you...or something like that!) What do you think?

I have never read or written a blog before! Now that I've said that, please feel free to advise me on protocol... I'm also wondering if we artists are doodling in the dirt? I mean, given that there is no "we" for whom whatever I say will be true, are we paying attention with the artist's eye to what is happening around us - and around us now includes a whole lot more than it did just a moment before so are we really paying attention and responding so as to give those who might notice a greater or different or clearer perspective on what it means to be here now? Or are we just entertaining ourselves with mindless activity? Thanks? Rain'
